Don’t go taking a $100 bankroll to a $20 table. If you have a $100 bankroll, keep your bets at $5 or less.

In addition to bankroll you must be aware of other factors as you play blackjack. One of the biggest things to remember is that streaks happen, both for, and against you. It is recognizing these streaks that can decide whether or not you are a long-term winner or loser at blackjack. You must go against the grain and hit hard when you are on a winning streak, and back off when you are losing.

Blackjack is a game of numbers, but it is also a game of streaks, moods, and intangibles. If you realize other factors are involved in blackjack then you can do more than just play good basic strategy and have a chance to be successful.
