is Simple
If casinos
had to do it all over again they probably would not offer blackjack
as a game. The reason is simple for this; the odds are too fair
and the player has too many advantages. Yes, to be sure, there
is a small house edge but also, to be sure, it can easily be
overcome by a good and disciplined blackjack player. That is
why blackjack is one of the most popular games either at a brick
and mortar casino or at an online casino because the players
know that they have a legitimate shot for money and winning.
That being said, its amazing just how many foolish mistakes
are made, even by veteran experts at blackjack, which is what
keeps the casinos in business and why, in the end, they don’t
shut down the blackjack tables.
Blackjack
is also a very simple game, which is another reason as to why
it has so much appeal. Aces are the most valuable card as they
count for either one point or eleven, (it’s the player’s
option to choose which value he wants to use for his ace). A
king, queen, jack, and ten are each worth ten points. From there
the numeric cards are worth their numeric numbers.
The best
hand that a player can draw is an ace along with a king, queen,
jack, or ten which would be a perfect hand of “twenty
one,” which is the other name that this game goes by.
The object is to get as close to twenty one points in blackjack
without going OVER the total of twenty one which is known as
going “bust.”
