Blackjack
Bankrolls
In many
blackjack casinos, both online and land-based, you will have
different options for how much you want to risk as you learn
how to play blackjack. You can play blackjack for free or you
can risk big money. The choice is up to you.
It is important
as you play blackjack to have a strategy and a bankroll to fit
the blackjack table you are playing at. You want to be playing
at a blackjack level much lower than 10% of your overall bankroll.
For example, let’s say lose 10 straight hands in blackjack.
If you are playing 10% of your bankroll on each hand you would
now be broke. What you want to do is keep your individual wagers
at a reasonable amount. Keep your wagers between 1% and 5% of
your overall bankroll. That way you can withstand the losing
streaks that are inevitable. This means if you want to play
at a $1 blackjack table you really need to be playing with a
$100 bankroll. That way you will feel comfortable with all of
the decisions you have to make and not feel pressured because
of a short bankroll.
When you
start playing blackjack remember to be prepared. Take the proper
bankroll with you to the table and your chances of success will
be greatly enhanced. |
